Céad Míle Fáilte to the official website of Roxboro N.S. Ballinrobe. Roxboro NS is a Catholic co-educational primary under the patronage of Archbishop Francis Duffy. The school is situated about 5.5km outside of Ballinrobe town on the edge of Lough Cara. The school was built in 1887 and has enjoyed a long tradition of quality education.
In 2007 we moved into our beautiful new school with fabulous facilities in a beautiful environment surrounded by the Roxboro countryside and near Ballinrobe racecourse.
The old school building is now incorporated into the new school building. The number of pupils at Roxboro N.S. is now on the rise.
The staff at Roxboro N.S. are very committed to the holistic development of each individual child and they are fully supported in their work by the Board of Management, Home/School Association, and the parent body.
